01Agreement and eligibility
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of XTIP (“XTIP”, “we”, “us” or “our”). If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement and must comply with the laws that apply to you. You may not use the Service where doing so would violate sanctions, export controls, local financial-services rules or other applicable law. XTIP may restrict availability by person, country, wallet, asset or feature at any time.
02What XTIP is
XTIP provides software and community tools that may allow users to connect an X identity, display public community information, verify a wallet, discover other members, send or receive tips when enabled, and participate in referrals or campaigns. Features may be experimental, incomplete, paused or removed.
XTIP is not X Corp, is not operated by X Corp, and is not endorsed, sponsored or administered by X Corp. “X” is used to describe the third-party service and identity connection only. XTIP does not control X, its availability, policies, APIs, moderation, data or account decisions.
03Your X account and displayed profile
When you connect X, you authorize XTIP to receive and use the information made available through the selected X authorization scope and permitted API responses. This may include your X user ID, username, display name, public profile URL, profile image or avatar, follower/following counts, account status and other public or authorized profile metadata.
You expressly grant XTIP a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, reproduce, cache, format, resize, publish, display and distribute that profile information—including your avatar, display name, username and follower count—within the Service, public member pages, rankings, supporter and ambassador directories, referral pages, analytics, promotional materials for XTIP and technical previews. This permission is necessary because the Service is designed to show social identity and network context.
You remain responsible for having the right to provide this information and for the accuracy of information associated with your account. You can stop future access by disconnecting X or requesting removal through the support channel identified in the Service; cached copies, public blockchain records, backups, fraud-prevention records and information required for legal or security reasons may remain for a reasonable period.
04Wallets, tips and digital assets
XTIP never asks for or stores your seed phrase or private key. You are solely responsible for selecting, securing and using your wallet, confirming network details, checking recipient addresses and understanding every transaction before signing it.
Once a blockchain transaction is signed and broadcast, it may be irreversible. Network congestion, validators, smart-contract behavior, gas fees, incorrect addresses, unsupported chains, third-party outages, hacks, exploits and regulatory action may cause delay, failure or permanent loss. XTIP does not guarantee that a transaction will settle, that a token will be transferable, or that a recipient will receive value.
Any XTIP token, meme asset, allocation, reward, campaign or tip is provided only as described in the relevant Service interface and is not a deposit, security, investment contract, share, debt, guaranteed reward or promise of income. Prices can be extremely volatile or reach zero. You must not commit money you cannot afford to lose. You bear all gains, losses, fees, tax obligations and consequences of your own activity; XTIP is not responsible for your trading or investment results.
Information about tokenomics, allocations, rankings or contribution scores is informational and may change. A contribution score is an activity metric, not a balance, valuation, credit score or entitlement.
05User responsibilities
You agree not to misuse the Service, manipulate rankings or referrals, create deceptive identities, scrape or copy the directory, infringe rights, upload unlawful or harmful material, harass others, evade limits, interfere with security, exploit bugs, use bots without permission, launder funds, or use the Service for fraud, market manipulation or illegal solicitation.
You are responsible for your account activity, connected wallet, credentials, devices and all content or profile information submitted or authorized by you. You must promptly notify us through the Service if you believe your account or wallet integration has been compromised.
06Platform discretion and enforcement
To protect XTIP, users and the integrity of the network, we may investigate activity, delay or refuse actions, withhold or cancel discretionary rewards, remove content, delist profiles, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts, block wallets, reverse an off-chain record, or preserve and disclose information where we reasonably believe it is necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or enforcement of these Terms.
We do not promise advance notice or an appeal process in every case. We may make decisions based on incomplete information and may correct errors or change eligibility rules. No ranking, allocation or invitation creates a vested right unless XTIP expressly confirms it in writing.
07Disclaimers and assumption of risk
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, XTIP DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
We do not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting or trading advice. You should obtain independent professional advice before using digital assets. You assume the risks of market volatility, technological failure, cyberattack, smart-contract defects, loss of access, regulatory uncertainty and third-party services. You are responsible for deciding whether the Service is appropriate for you.
08Indemnity and liability limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless XTIP and its operators, contributors, contractors and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your X account, your wallet, your transactions, your violation of these Terms or your violation of another person’s rights or law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, XTIP will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost tokens or loss of goodwill. XTIP’s total aggregate liability for claims arising out of the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to XTIP for the Service in the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or US$100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
09Changes, termination and general terms
We may update these Terms, the Service, fees, eligibility criteria, token functionality, allocation rules and privacy practices as the project evolves. The updated version becomes effective when posted unless a later date is stated. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we may provide notice through the Service when reasonably practicable.
You may stop using XTIP at any time. We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law. Provisions concerning licenses, ownership, risk, disclaimers, indemnity, liability, disputes and interpretation survive termination.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the Service and supersede prior statements about it. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be narrowed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains effective. No waiver is a continuing waiver. Headings are for convenience only. The interpretation and enforcement of these Terms are subject to the laws and courts applicable to the XTIP operator, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. The operator’s reasonable interpretation of these Terms and the Service governs administration of the platform, subject to applicable law.
